The Coastal Bend Home Builders Association (CBHBA) Construction Scholarship Fund was established to raise and distribute funds for local education and training to build a strong residential construction workforce. Through the Texas Builders Foundation, this fund accepts donations from supporting CBHBA members and non-members throughout the community. The Texas Builders Foundation is organized as a public charitable Foundation within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

In addition to individual contributions, the CBHBA will hold fundraisers such as golf tournaments and our annual Parade of Homes, as well as other association events to raise dollars for the CBHBA Construction Scholarship Fund. Tickets to these events will also be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and will be used, for example, to support local students attending local colleges and training centers.
